Transport and storage

Transport

Transport the solenoid valve carefully.

Avoid knocks and vibration.

Storage

Store the solenoid valve dry in its original

packaging.
Store the solenoid valve only with the

connections blocked off .
Avoid UV rays and direct sun irradiation.

Observe the maximum storage

temperature (see chapter 5 "Technical
data").

Functional description

The GEMÜ 205 directly controlled 2/2-way
solenoid valve has a plastic valve body.
The fl ow direction is stipulated and indicated
by an arrow on the valve body.
8.1

Valve closed

Valve closed
When the valve is closed the medium flows
into the valve body and presses onto the
piston. The valve remains closed. Observe
the permissible operating pressure (see
chapter 5 "Technical data").
CAUTION
Damage to the solenoid / destruction
of the solenoid!
Danger of burning out of the solenoid if

operating pressures are too high!

Valve open

When voltage is applied the solenoid in
the valve actuator is activated and lifts the
armature. This opens the valve outlet.
