A FEW STEPS TO PERFECT PREPARATION
STEAM
To dampen food, use the supplied steaming insert. This is dishwasher safe.
The preparation times listed in the table below are reference values and should be used as a guide.
Switch off the appliance manually after the cooking time.
To do this, press the OFF button on the top of the device. Remove the power plug from the socket after
use.
1. First determine the appropriate amount of water according to the following table and fill the water
into the inner pot.
Vegetables
Cabbage, green beans,
potatoes
Asparagus, spinach, brown and
red beans, broccoli
Zucchini
2. Put the inner pot in the multi-cooker.
3. Place the steamer insert on the inner pot.
4. Fill the vegetables into the steamer insert. Make sure that you do not overfill the steamer insert, fill
it only up to a maximum of 1 cm from the top edge.
5. Close the lid so that it clicks into place.
6. Turn the multi-cooker on the control panel to STEAM. The red LED lights up and a beep sounds.
7. When the preset steaming time has expired, switch off the multi-cooker with the ON / OFF button.
8. Carefully open the lid.
9. Remove the hot steaming insert with the help of potholders.
10. Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and the connector from the receptacle.
