1. Operation via remote control unit
ON / OFF (1)
Press the ON/OFF symbol to switch it
on. The fan starts in the 3rd setting.
Press the ON/OFF symbol again to
switch it off. Grease filter saturation limit

Increasing the fan power (2)
Press the Increase fan power button.
The fan power increases by one power
setting every time you press the button.
Decreasing the fan power (3)
Press the Decrease fan power button.
The fan power decreases by one power
setting every time you press the button
until it reaches power setting 1.
Lighting (4)
Press the button with the lighting symbol
to switch on the lighting. The lighting is
switched off by pressing it again. Keep-
ing the lighting symbol depressed dims
the lighting.
Intensive setting (5)
When the Intensive setting button is
pressed, the fan runs at maximum
power. The fan power returns to a power
setting after 5 minutes.

Automatic after-run (6)
Pressing the Automatic after-run button
activates the automatic after-run. The
extraction hood switches from setting 3
back to setting 1 and switches off auto-
matically after 15 minutes.
Display grease filter cleaning
If the grease filter display lights up (red
LED), the filter must be cleaned. Once
the filter has been cleaned, hold the
toggle switch (fan symbol) depressed
for at least 10 seconds until the LED
indicator goes out.

Changing the battery

The battery compartment is on the rear
of the remote control. Use your thumb
and index finger to lift the lid until the
magnetic contact which holds the lid in
place releases. Now remove the dead
batteries and replace them with new
ones of the same type. Replace the lid.
Caution: Do not dispose of dead batter-
ies as household waste!
