Start of operation
In order to avoid damages, switch only for start-up the 24V DC operating voltage to the locking
system.
For a problem-free installation of the locking drive, we recommend to follow the work procedures
Caution!

• Carry out all connections with not mounted locking drive (see section „2.12 Connection diagram"),
except the connection of the opening drive
• Now connect the operating voltage in order to check the movement of the locking plate. If neces-
sary change the DIP-switches and correct the locking position and the stroke. Set the locking plate
to close position when the locking drive moves correctly.
• Now switch off the operating voltage and connect the opening drive(s)
• Mount the completely connected locking drive with unscrewed locking plate. Hook off the opening
drive(s) and open the window.
• Now switch the operating voltage to opening direction. The locking plate opens and the unhooked
opening drives moves to the opening end position.
• After that switch to closing direction.
• Fix the locking plate again and ensure motion of window.
• Hang in the opening drive(s) and adjust it in accordance with the drive instructions. In the end check
the sequential control.
Depending on the drive type a delay up to 4 minutes between lockin drive and opening
drive in the first operating time is possible. Don't switch off or disconnect the operating
voltage during this time! The threshold of cutoff current is obtained and stores (after start-

up the delay of sequential control is approx. 3s)
Note for start-up with indicator for system opened
Move the opening drive to the end position completely until the indicator for system opened
shines. A delay up to 4 minutes in the case of first start-up is system-dependent and not faults.
Caution!
Don't switch off or disconnect the operating voltage during this time.
