1. Introduction, General Information

1.1 Introduction, General Information
The digital multimeter is a battery-operated, mobile, handheld multimeter with
extensive measurement capabilities.
It is characterized by the following performance characteristics:
Measurement of DC voltages and DC currents, AC voltages and AC
currents
Resistance measurement
Frequency measurement to 20 kHz
Capacitance measurement
Temperature measurement
Continuity tester with audible output for testing of fuses, connections etc.
Diode test function
Automatic display illumination in the dark
Overload protection function
Hold function for holding readings in the display
Low-battery warning signal
Automatic polarity indication, overflow display, zero setting, auto power off
after 10 minutes
LC display with 21 mm digits

1.2 Intended Use

The digital multimeter is designed for measuring of DC and AC voltages up
to 1000 V DC / 750 V AC, of DC and AC currents up to 20 A, of resistance
up to 200 MΩ, of capacity up to 100 µF, of frequencies up to 20 kHz, of
temperatures between -40ºC and +1000ºC, for acoustic signals for
continuity tests, for diode tests, using the supplied measurement leads
according to the specifications provided in the technical data sheet. It is
intended for the use in the private sector as well as in training and with
restrictions on commercial purpose (no explosion protection, environmental
conditions, according to Technical Data).
Any use beyond these parameters can lead to damage to the multimeter
and can lead to further consequences such as fire, electric shocks etc. For
consequential damages resulting from failure to follow these rules and the
manual, we assume no liability, warranty claims will expire, too.
