3 GETTING STARTED
3.1 WORKING SAFELY
The Elcometer 102 has been designed for use on self-healing
compressor air hose and blast hose only.
The operator must wear safety eye protection and government
approved safety equipment.
To avoid injury, take care when using needles and dispose of
needles safely.
A failure resulting in injury or damage may be caused by misuse

Exceeding the pressure limitations of the gauge
Excessive vibration or pressure pulsation
Exceeding the operating temperature range of the gauge
Corrosion of the pressure containing parts
3.2 FITTING A NEEDLE
Each gauge is supplied with two needles in a storage case. For safety
reasons, a needle is not supplied fitted to the gauge.
