Maintenance and calibration

To guarantee the accuracy of the multimeter over a long period of ti-
me, it should be calibrated once annually. Fuse replacement is de-
scribed under "Changing the fuse" above. To clean the unit and the
display window, use a clean, lint-free, anti-static, dry cleaning cloth.
Do not use any carbonaceous cleaning agents or
petrol, alcohol or similar for cleaning. They can
attack the surface of the measuring instrument. Ad-
ditionally, the fumes are explosive and endanger
health. Do not use any sharp-edged tools, screwdri-
vers, metal brushes or similar for cleaning.
