11 Warranty
The instrument we have supplied has been designed and
manufactured with utmost care. A further thorough check has
been performed before shipment.
We therefore guarantee compliance with the applicable safe-
ty regulations, professional workmanship and perfect func-
tioning.
The duration, terms and conditions of the warranty are set out
in Mahr GmbH's General Terms and Conditions of Delivery or
the applicable purchase agreement.
Provided no other agreements have been made, the follow-
ing terms and conditions apply:
The warranty does not cover either natural wear and tear or
faults resulting from improper handling, use for purposes oth-
er than those intended or non-observance of the operating
instructions. In particular, the manufacturer shall only be held
responsible for the instrument's function and safety provided
that any intervention in the instrument outside the scope of
the work described in the operating instructions is carried out
exclusively by the manufacturer or by persons appointed by
him.
This instrument's high level of accuracy can only be guaran-
teed if genuine Mahr probes and probe arms and other Mahr
accessories are used.
