3 Operation

3.1

Prior to commissioning

Prior to commissioning, the local safety regula-
tions and the safety instructions in Chap. 1 of
these operating instructions must be noted.
Before carrying out operations prior
to commissioning, the mains plug
must be removed from the socket.
3.2 Setting the machine into operation
for the first time (Fig. 1)
Unfold the handle until the final stop point is
reached then firmly tighten the clamping lever
(10). Adjust the required handle height by the
handle clamping levers (14).
Warning !
When the handle is folded down,
the machine must not be lifted or
carried by the handle head (a) on
its own, or by the handle head (a)
and handle shaft end (b) Always
use the grip recess (c) to lift or
carry the machine.
3.3

Filling the machine (Fig. 2)

Open the tank cap (28) at the closure latches
(27) and tilt back. Ensure that the drain valve (6)
remains closed.
Fill the clean-water tank (29) up to the maximum
filling-level mark (30). Dose a low-foaming
cleaner according to the manufacturer's instruc-
tions, and pour into the fresh-water tank.
Dosing: Do not exceed the manufacturer's in-
structions!
