IMPORTANT
If the indication lamp
at the most, the appliance is defective!
► Immediately remove the plug from the mains power socket. Do not attempt
to repair the appliance yourself. In this case, contact Customer Services.
♦ Open the appliance lid and remove the bag. This is now sealed at one end.
NOTICE
► Check to ensure that the sealing seam is in order. A correct sealing seam
should be a smooth, straight strip without folds.
♦ Fill the bag. You must leave at least 6 cm free to the bag-edge that is to be
sealed.
IMPORTANT
► Fill the bags in such a way that, under no circumstances, food remnants or
fl uids can run out of the bag when sealing it and permeate into the appliance.
♦ If you do not want to vacuum seal the bag you can now seal the open side.
Vacuuming the tube fi lm
When sealing, you can at the same time extract the air from the bag (vacuuming):
IMPORTANT
► Do NOT vacuum bags in which there are liquids. They will permeate into
the appliance and damage it.
♦ Place the open end of the bag around the suction connectors
this you can lift them slightly. The bag needs to extend up to the marking
"Vacuum", which is marked on the appliance.
