• Pull the power plug out of the mains socket before changing accessories or putting the device away. This
precaution will ensure that the device does not operate accidentally.
• Switch the device off immediately if it is defective or nor working properly.
• Only use the device with the accessory parts supplied.
• Do not leave the device operating unattended.
• Do not use the device under blankets, pillows etc.
• Do not operate the device for longer than 20 minutes in one session. Then stop it for at least 30 minutes
to prevent the motor overheating.
• Never use the device while you bathe or shower. Do not store or keep the device in places from which it
can fall into a bathtub or washbasin.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. If the device falls into water, pull out the power plug

of skin diseases (such as tinea).
• Keep the device clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
• Keep the device away from heat sources.
• Take care at all times. Always be aware of what you are doing and work carefully at all times.
• During use on the skin the device may become hot.
• The device can become very hot during long, intensive use, e. g. when sanding off calluses on feet. To
prevent burns to the skin in these cases, longer breaks must be taken between individual uses. For your own
safety, continuously check the heat development of the device. This particularly applies to heat-sensitive
users.
• Check the results regularly when using the device. This is particularly important for diabetics, because they
may be less sensitive to pain and may injure themselves more easily. Take particular care when working
with the device. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
