7.9 Disposal and return

The lifting column must either be disposed of according to the applicable directives and
guidelines, or returned to the manufacturer. The lifting column contains electronic components,
cables, metals, plastics, etc., and must be disposed of in compliance with the applicable
environmental regulations of the respective country. In Germany, disposal is governed by the
Elektro-G (RoHS) [Electrical Code], and in the European region by EU Directive 2012/19/EC or the
relevant national legislation.
