Press to change the name or universes (1-4 or 5-8) on the relevant field and with the right mouse button

(onPC) or the right Encoder (console) open the box and make the change.
If the 4 OUT fields in the node menu are shown in green, the node is ready for use.
If no show is active, the IN / OUT fields remain gray and all Univers -numbers be 1. -Then first start a show
and possibly repeat the process.
The IP address is registered factory-in each unit of the dot2 family and cannot be changed. Collisions by
accidentally multiple assigned IP address are therefore impossible.
Connect DMX cable to the back - ready. Notice of the assignment of DMX ports to the respective universes,
otherwise the lights cannot be controlled properly.
Note: All devices have the DMX ports A, B, C, D. If several devices are connected to a session, then, a total of
4096 channels can be output. The necessary DMX ports E, F, G and H are then placed on the (physical) ports
DMX A, B, C and D of one or more other devices within the session.
Turn OFF
Set main switch an the back side to position „O". Note: Disconnecting the dot2 Node4 from your PC or
notebook is always possible – however DMX –output is interrupted immediately. Show is always stored on your
PC or notebook, not on your dot2 Node4. For longer non-use disconnect all cables.
