10. Sauna rules

Taking a sauna is an ideal and refreshing way to relax. The abrupt change from healthy heat to a low
temperature reinforces the body's natural defences and circulatory system. In short: The body's
metabolism goes into overdrive. Taking a sauna also tones and detoxifies the skin. Body and soul
recover their equilibrium.
The tradition of taking sweat treatments in rooms especially designed for the purpose goes back
thousands of years. The Greeks and Romans were familiar with the healthy effects of sweating. Our
current definition of a sauna is largely taken from a Finnish design of wooden sweating cabin that
provides a high temperature and low air humidity. For maximum enjoyment.
Two spare hours, a couple of towels and some soap, and off you go. Do not take a sauna if you are
very hungry, or on a full stomach. Take a shower and dry yourself thoroughly. If your feet are cold, warm
them up with hot water before entering the sauna. Each sauna session should last between 8 and 12
minutes, and no more than 15. Adopt a relaxed sitting or lying position.
.
If you feel unwell in any way, leave the cabin immediately.
Pouring water on the stones increases the enjoyment of the sauna, especially if the water contains
aromatic essences. The resulting water vapour is good for the respiratory organs and makes you sweat
more intensely. We recommend sitting for 2-3 minutes afterwards. You should then leave the cabin and
breath in some fresh air. Then take a cold shower. Experienced sauna users may also like to take a cold
dip. You should then sit and relax or take a gentle stroll. Cool down further if required. Heating up your
feet with warm water before the next session in the sauna encourages the circulation of the blood.
After cooling down completely, take a second or third session, or as you prefer. Immediately after the
session, drink liquid (preferably mineral water or fruit juice) to recover lost body fluid. This is both
refreshing and healthy.

11. Sauna rules - Comfort Climate

temperature of approx. 60 °C and a level of air humidity that can be set at up to a maximum of 55 %,
you will find the atmosphere particularly gentle and relaxing. This is an ideal and refreshing way to relax.
