Introduction

Dear Customer,
We are very glad that you have chosen the A KTIVLINE basic model, a high-quality
product by interco GmbH.
The AKTIVLINE basic model is a standardized care system consisting entirely of
proven dynamic components. It is available in 3 sizes and grows with the patient;
at the same time it can be individually customized to the needs of the patient.
Seat width, seat depth, back height are designed to be adjustable in increments
of 5 cm, enabling fast and easy customization to the patient's measurements.
The novel abduction pommel - leg rest system (AFS) can be folded under the
seat unit at any time and enables the patient to be easily transferred. The entire
care system is weight-optimized and easily removable from the undercarriage.
In addition, you will find that the AKTIVLINE basic model is considerably sturdier
than conventional fixed care systems. The integrated dynamic range within the
system also reduces wear on the materials.
These instructions for use include plenty of tips and advice on how to easily
and safely use the AKTIVLINE basic model. Should you have any suggestions or
questions about the AKTIVLINE basic model we would be happy to hear from you.

Miscellaneous

The product has been tested in a temperature range of –20 °C to +60 °C (–4 °F to
+140 °F). Colour differences between individual parts cannot always be avoided.
Unfortunately, any claims referring to this fact cannot be admitted. Please un-
derstand that improper handling, possible waterline stains or differences in the
fabric colours, as described above, are no basis for a justified claim. A regular
maintenance of all metal parts of the buggy, in particular the chrome parts, is
necessary to preserve its high-grade appearance. Conventional cleaning prod-
ucts are sufficient for this purpose. Small repair sets for damages to the frame's
paintwork are available at a specialised dealer. The extremities of the axle have
to be cleaned and slightly lubricated about every fourth week.
