Enter ID:
Use this function to manually program the
ID of the OE sensor on the Herth+Buss wheel
sensor.Presstheenterkeytoselect.
Enter the sensor ID:
Use the arrow buttons to navigate. Press the
enter key to enter the ID. (confirm each in-
dividual digit with the enter key).To finish,
selectthe"Return"symbolontherightofthe
screentoprogramthemanuallyenteredID.
After confirming the ID entered, it is possi-
ble to implement "WIRE PROGRAMMING"
bylockingthesensorinpositioninthesen-
sor compartment or "WIRELESS PROGRAM-
MING"byholdingthesensorinparallelwith
the device.This also works with not yet ac-
tivated Herth+Buss wheel sensors already
fittedinthetyre.

Please note:
The AirGuard will automatically skip
to the "Return" icon if the maximum
number of digits for a sensor ID has
been reached for the selected vehicle.
TIP
Please check whether the ID of the
OE sensorishexadecimal(0–9+A–F)
ordecimal(0–9)sothatyouselectthe
rightmodewhenduplicatingmanually.
Youmaybeaskedbeforeentry.We
recommend setting the ID format to
"automatic" in the settings menu. Refer
to Section 7 in the table of contents for
how to check this.
