• Press the '>>' key to store the

acknowledgement tone sounds.
Note:
Setting the ringing tone volume to
'1', mutes the ringing tone!
Result:
When you receive a call, the tele-
phone rings at the volume you have
selected.
Programming
the ringing melody
Procedure:
• Lift the receiver.
• Press the '*' and '#' keys simul-
taneously.
• Press key '6'.
• Press the '>>' key. You hear the
ringing tone.
• Select the desired melody by
pressing one of the number keys
0...9.
• You may press various digits, one
after the other, in order to set the
desired melody.
• Press the '>>' key to store the
ringing melody. The acknowled-
gement tone sounds.
Result:
When you receive a call, the tele-
phone rings with the melody you
have selected.
Programming the receiver
volume (receiver inset)
In cases of high ambient noise, it
can be desirable to increase the
receiver volume.
Procedure:
• Lift the receiver.
• Press the '*' and '#' keys simul-
taneously.
• Press key '7'.
• Press the '>>' key.
• Select the desired receiver volume
by pressing one of the number
keys 1...7.
• 1 is the normal volume, 7 is a 12
dB increased volume level (com-
pared to the normal volume).
• Press the '>>' key to store the
receiver volume. The acknowled-
gement tone sounds.
Result:
The next time you use the telephone,
the receiver volume is modified.
Programming the receiver
microphone volume
In cases of high ambient noise, it
can be desirable to reduce the
receiver microphone volume.
Procedure:
• Lift the receiver.
• Press the '*' and '#' keys simul-
taneously.
• Press key '8'.
• Press the '>>' key.
• Select the desired receiver micro-
phone volume by pressing one of
the number keys 1...7.
• 7 is the normal volume, 1 is a 12
dB reduced volume level (com-
pared to the normal volume).
• Press the '>>' key to store the
receiver microphone volume. The
acknowledgement tone sounds.
Result:
The next time you use the telephone,
the receiver microphone volume is
modified.
Programming the
preferred setting
Using the preferred setting, you can
reset the receiver volume, the receiver
microphone volume, the ringing
melody and the ringing tone to the
as-delivered condition. The short
code dialling memories, however,
will not be deleted.
