Anwendung
Das wettersichere Telefon FernTel-W
ist für die Anschaltung an analoge
Nebenstellenanschlüsse für den
ZB-Betrieb vorgesehen. Es wird
dort eingesetzt, wo für das Telefon
nur eine geringe Montagefläche zur
Verfügung steht und ein ZB-Betrieb
ausreichend ist. Das FernTel-W be-
sitzt keine Tastatur. Eine Telefonver-
bindung wird aufgebaut, indem
durch Abheben des Hörers die Lei-
tung belegt wird. Die Wahl wird dann
von der entsprechend program-
mierten Nebenstellenanlage aus-
geführt. Das FernTel-W besteht aus
dem Hörer, einer Grundplatte mit
der Hörerauflage und einem An-
schlusskasten. Die Elektronik ist
vollständig im Hörer integriert. Ab-
hängig von den Gegebenheiten am
Montageort kann auch auf den
Anschlusskasten verzichtet werden.
Die Hörerschnur kann als Wendel-
schnur oder als Panzerschnur aus-
geführt werden. Das FernTel-W
besitzt kein eigenes Ruforgan.
Verwendungshinweise
Zur Belegung der Telefonleitung
besitzt das FernTel-W einen Reed-
Kontakt, der durch einen Magneten
in der Hörerauflage geschaltet
wird. Um eine bestehende Verbin-
dung zu unterbrechen bzw. zu
beenden, muss der Hörer auf die
Hörerauflage gelegt werden.
Montage
Das FernTel-W ist ein Telefon für die
Wandmontage. Schrauben Sie die
Montageplatte mit 3 bzw. 4 Schrau-
ben an die Wand. Öffnen Sie den
Anschlusskasten. Führen Sie die
Anschlussleitung durch die Kabel-
einführung des Anschlusskastens
und schließen Sie die 2 Adern der
Anschlussleitung an die vorhande-
nen Klemmen an. Schließen Sie
den Anschlusskasten wieder. Wenn
die 2 Adern der Hörerschnur in der
direkten Nähe des Montageorts an
die Telefon-Anschlussleitung ge-
klemmt werden können, kann das
FernTel-W ohne Anschlusskasten
verwendet werden.
Application
The weatherproof
FernTel-W has been designed for
the connection to analogue ports
of branch exchanges for ZB opera-
tion (ZB is the German abbreviation
for "Zentralbetrieb" / "telephone
exchange operation"). It is applica-
ble in places with restricted moun-
ting surfaces and where the ZB
operation is fully sufficient. The
FernTel-W is a telephone without
keypad. A telephone connection is
established by picking up the
handset. The dialling procedure will
be made by the branch exchange
that has been programmed accor-
dingly. The FernTel-W consists of
the handset, a plate with a handset
rest and a terminal box. The elec-
tronics are completely integrated in
the handset. The terminal box can
be omitted, depending on the local
conditions. The handset cord is
available as a spiral cord as well as
an armoured cord. The FernTel-W
is not equipped with a ringing device.
Notes on use
In order to establish a telephone
call the FernTel-W is equipped with
a reed contact that is switched via
a magnet in the handset rest. In
order to interrupt or to terminate an
existing telephone call connection
the handset has to be hung up on
the handset rest.
Mounting
The FernTel-W telephone is de-
signed for wall mounting. Attach
the mounting plate to the wall by
using 3 or 4 screws. Open the ter-
minal box. Guide the connecting
cable through the cable gland of
the terminal box and connect the 2
conductors of the
cable to the terminal. Close the ter-
minal box. If a connection of the 2
conductors of the handset cord to
the connection cable of the tele-
phone right next to the mounting
place is possible, the FernTel-W
can be used without terminal box.
