8. Commissioning
a) Removing the Car Body
The vehicle body is secured with holding clips which must be pulled out from the retaining pins. The vehicle body can
then be lifted off.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
Uncoil the aerial cable entirely. Then push it into the included
aerial tube and place the aerial tube in the intended holder at
the vehicle (see arrow in the figure on the right).
Simply let excess aerial cable protrude loosely from the tip of
the aerial tube.
Never shorten the aerial cable!
c) Taking the Transmitter into Operation
Open the transmitter's battery compartment and insert batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries. Observe
correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again.
Switch on the transmitter. Check the functions at the transmitter.
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Inserting the Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries into the Vehicle
First disconnect the plug connector, see arrow in the figure on
the right.
Above each holder there is a fastening lever secured with a
retention bracket. Pull out the respective retention clamp and
swivel the fastening bracket upwards.
Then insert either 4 batteries or 4 NiMH batteries type AA/
mignon into the two holders at the left and right of the vehicle.
We recommend the use of rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the
battery compartment.
Fold the retaining bracket down again and secure it with the
retention bracket you removed initially.
