Clock frequency: 12 kHz / 8 kHz (default setting: 12 kHz)
The motor control frequency of 8 kHz is suitable for most brushless motors. For motors with a high KV indication and
many poles, higher clock frequencies enable better motor run. However, this increases the thermal load on the control-
ler.
10. BEC voltage: 5.25 V / 6 V (default setting 5.25 V)

12. LiPo cells: Auto / 2S / 3S / 4S / 5S / 6S (default settings: Auto)
When connecting the rechargeable battery to the speed controller, it emits several sound signals according to the
number of the battery cells recognised. If older or weaker batteries are used, there may be errors in automatic cell
recognition. In this case, we recommend manually setting the cell number.
Commissioning
1.
Set the throttle control lever of your remote control in the lowest position (motor off).
2.
Connect the rechargeable battery to the speed controller. Always observe correct polarity of the connection cables:
Red = plus (+) and black = minus (-).
The controller now performs a self-test and emits 3 short sounds with increasing pitch via the applied voltage to
indicate that the applied voltage is in the normal range.
Then 2 – 6 short sounds are emitted depending on number of cells.
Finally, a long signal sound indicates the end of the self-test and readiness of the controller for operation. At the same
time, the signal sounds are visually supported by synchronous flashing of the installed red LED.
If the connected motor does not emit any signals, check correct wiring.
If the controller only emits two short sounds after the 3 short tones with increasing pitch, the correct position of
the throttle control lever is recognised as full throttle position. In this case, put the control lever in the correct
position or press the servo reverse function at the transmitter for the throttle channel.
If the red LED flashes 2 x per second, the connected operating voltage of the speed controller is too low or too
high. In this case, check the connected rechargeable battery.
3.
Because every transmitter has slightly different control signals, the actually present control path must be stored in the
speed controller. The precise procedure is described in the following section "Teaching the Throttle Control Path".
Alarm Sounds
Input voltage outside of the permissible area:
During operation, the sped controller checks the operating voltage. If it is outside of the permissible voltage range, the
speed controller emits a warning signal via the connected motor. Two signal sounds are emitted at a distance of approx. 1
second and the red LED flashes at the same rhythm.
Transmitter signal is not recognised:
If the transmitter signal is not recognised during operation, the motor stops and emits a brief signal sound at an interval of
2 seconds. The red LED flashes at the same rhythm. Once a valid transmitter signal is recognised again, the speed controller
switches on the motor again.

Throttle control lever in the wrong position:

If the throttle control lever is not in the bottom-most position, the motor connected to the speed controller emits short
signals at an interval of 0.25 seconds and the red LED flashes at the same rhythm. If the control lever is put in the bottom-
most position, 2 – 6 short sounds are emitted depending on number of cells, and readiness for operation is then put in the
bottom-most position. Then operational readiness is indicated with a long sound.
