10.1 Quarterly
NOTICE
Risk of damage to unit if incorrect
cleaning agent is used.
 Only clean the covers using water.
 Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
 Do not clean the covers in a dishwasher.
NOTICE
Lamella may break if cleaned
incorrectly.
 Take care when cleaning. Do not
exercise force when opening, shutting
or bending the lamella.
Check the air filter quarterly as follows.
1. Evenly pull designer cover [7] out of the
housing [2].
2. Remove air filter retaining spring and then
the air filter [6].
Slightly dirty air filter: Clean the filter
using clear water and allow it to dry.
Very dirty air filter: Replace filter with a
new one.
3. In the case of severe contamination of the
air channel, the complete air channel and
all housing components should be cleaned
with a vacuum cleaner. To do this, remove
the cover [5] and the internal shutter [4].
Release internal shutter from the locking
hooks [4.1]/[4.2] ( Chapter 8) and
remove it.
4. Clean all components.
5. Reinsert the internal shutter [4]. The
shutter must engage properly.
6. Locate the cover [5] in position and secure
it with the housing locking lever  Chap. 8.
7. Insert air filter [6] in the round housing
recess and use the retaining spring [9]
to secure it to the two cover domes [4].
This involves pulling the retaining springs
apart slightly at the ends and sliding it over
the domes.
8. Fit designer cover [7]. The four pins of the
designer cover must engage easily in the
cover's [5] domes.
10. Cleaning, filter change │ UK
10.2 Every 2 years
For reasons of hygiene, the air filter should
be exchanged for a new one every 2 years.
Depending on the system
configuration, use an air filter of the
G2 or G3 filter class.
