Mixer return AHS
Menu item
Adjustment range: Function description
AHS return temp rise Yes: mixer for return temperature increase at
alternative heat source is connected to module (VR1).
The module controls the mixer in such a way that the
primary cylinder and heating system are bypassed until
the required minimum return temperature at the
alternative heat source is reached.
No: no return temperature increase
Mixer run time
0 ... 120 ... 600 s: maximum mixer operating time for
return temperature increase.
Set temp. return
40 ... 65 ... 75 °C: this set temperature should be
reached during return temperature increase.
Note: to avoid damage, observe the manufacturer's
specifications for the minimum return temperature of
the alternative heat source.

Buffer
Menu item
Adjustment range: Function description
40* ... 75 °C: set temperature for buffer cylinder
Set flow temp. AHS
charging
Can only be adjusted with a primary pump connected to
the module.
Notice: observe manufacturer's specifications for the
maximum permissible temperature of the alternative
heat source! We recommend you adjust the set
temperature so it is 5 K below the maximum permissible
temperature.
* the value cannot be less than the set temperature
specified for the return temperature increase (set temp.
return)
Buffer bypass
Mixer: mixer for buffer cylinder bypass connected to the
module (VB1).
Valve: 3-way diverter valve for buffer cylinder bypass
connected to module (VB1).
No: buffer cylinder bypass valve connected to module.
Bypass mixer run time 0 ... 120 ... 600 s: maximum operating time of mixer/
valve for bypassing buffer cylinder.
DHW via buffer
Yes: buffer cylinder is used for DHW heating.
No: no DHW heating via buffer cylinder.
Config. DHW cylinder Dual: potable water is heated passively via buffer
cylinder (e.g. "Tank in Tank", dual buffer cylinder with
potable water in top part).
Mono: potable water is actively heated via the buffer
cylinder (e.g DHW cylinder with single heat source and
primary pump)

Blocking mode
Menu item
Adjustment range: Function description
Config. htg. blocking
Never: if a conventional heat source is connected, this
1)
mode
responds to heat requirements of the heating system
independently of the alternative heat source.
Autom.: the conventional heat source is released if the
alternative heat source cannot heat the buffer cylinder.
Otherwise the conventional heat source remains
blocked.
Always: the conventional heat source is permanently
blocked for the heat energy demand.
Conf. DHW blocking
Never: if a conventional heat source is connected, this
1)
mode
responds to heat requirements for DHW independently
of the alternative heat source.
Autom.: the conventional heat source is released if the
alternative heat source cannot heat the buffer cylinder.
Otherwise the conventional heat source remains
blocked.
Always: the conventional heat source is permanently
blocked for the DHW demand.
Hyst. for boiler block 0 ... 5 ... 50 K: if the temperature of the buffer cylinder
falls below the set temperature minus the value set here
(switching differential) for a certain period (Boiler
release wait.time), the conventional heat source is
released.
Boiler release
0 ... 60 ... 240 min: if the switching differential (Hyst.
wait.time
for boiler block) is undercut for the duration set here,
the conventional heat source is released.
Blocking output
EMS: the conventional heat source interlock is applied
selection
via a BUS connection. The heat source must support the
interlock via EMS plus.
EV: the conventional heat source interlock is applied via
terminal OEV (EV/I3 connection at heat source).
Config. of
N/C: contact is open during an interlock and closed
block.terminal
when the conventional heat source is released.
N/O: contact is closed during an interlock and opened
when the conventional heat source is released.
1) Can only be adjusted if Blocking output selection is set to EMS.

Diagnosis menu

The available menus, information or values depend on which system has
been installed. Observe the documents for the heat source, user
interface, additional modules and other system components.
Function test
If a AM200 module is installed, the menu Function test > AHS type is
displayed.
The function of the devices connected to the module can be tested in this
menu. The pump in the return of the alternative heat source can be
selectively switched on/off, for example.
Monitored values
If a AM200 module is installed, the menu Monitored values > AHS type
is displayed.
You can call up information on the current status of the devices
connected to the module in this menu. You can display the flow and
return temperature of the alternative heat source here, for example.
