Switch-off Delay (Fig. 7)
The timer integrated in Sensor 6800-3x controls the ON
time of the activated consumers . This function is, e.g.,
necessary to prevent continuous switching on and off in a
frequently traversed corridor or to bridge standstill periods
in the detection zone.
The switch-off delay can be set, in conjuction with the FM
Relay Insert 6401U-102, to a short-time pulse
second to control, e.g., door bells or time switches for
staircase lighting. When a switching signal has been emit-
ted, a further switching signal to activated consumers is
suppressed for nine seconds, even if the Busch Watchdog
has again effected detection.
• Select another time value (in seconds and
minutes) by adjusting the setting knob to
the desired value (e.g., 15 minutes).
