Extension Operation
Passive Extension Operation via Pushbutton
NC pushbutton
The function effected via the NC pushbutton causes the
devices to be switched on for the length of time set on
Sensor 6800-3x (at least 1 minute in the case of time
settings of less than 1 minute, with the exception of the
short-time pulse ).
This reaction is independent of the lighting conditions at
the installation site.
NO pushbutton
The reaction with extension operation via the NO pushbutton
is identical to that via the NC pushbutton.
NOTE
In the case of extension operation via NO pushbutton, the
maximum length of the extension line must not exceed
100 m.
Use only pushbuttons without contact-parallel lighting.
To prevent disturbances as a result of ripple voltage, the
switched line must be laid separately to the extension line.
