To Narrow the Detection Range
The horizontal detection range of Sensor 6800-3x is 180°.
This range can be narrowed to suit local circumstances:
To do this, proceed as follows (see also Fig. 2):
• Cut the masking strip provided to the desired length and/
or width (see marking on the masking strip).
• Affix the marking strip to the area on the front of the lens
of the Sensor 6800-3x where detection is to be pre-
vented.
In this way, the max. range can be reduced in two steps;
you achieve the following values (see also Fig. 3):
