• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the unit does not operate any longer and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- after it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability<h$> Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials
are to be observed.
• The system components included in the scope of supply are suitable for operation
in dry rooms exclusively.
• It is only permissible to use the provided wall power supplies to power the camera
and the receiver.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between the vari-
ous devices and any extension cables comply with regulations and also comply
with the operating instructions.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are removed
(unless these parts are intended to be removed without tools). Terminals may also
be live. If the appliance needs to be opened for calibrating, servicing, repairing or
replacing parts or assemblies, it must be disconnected from all sources of current
first. Any necessary servicing or repair on the open device must be carried out by a
specialist who is familiar with the risks involved and the relevant regulations.
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnected
from all power sources.
• The power pack unit/cable may never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
• Never pull on the cable of the wall power supply. Always unplug it by pulling out the
housing.
• When installing the device, make sure the connection cables are not squeezed,
squashed or damaged by sharp objects.
• Remove the power pack unit from the wall socket if the device is not in use for a
longer period of time. Always pull the wall power supply out of the mains socket
before cleaning the device.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the wall power supply from the mains socket in
case of a thunderstorm.
• Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. If necessary, disconnect the device
from the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour fluids onto electrical devices. This would cause a serious danger of fire
or electric shock. If such a case does occur, disconnect the power pack unit from
the mains socket immediately and consult an expert.
• Maintenance, adjustments and repairs may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.
• For any unanswered questions please contact our customer service or other spe-
cialists.
