5. Battery Information

• Batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
• Please observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around openly. There is a risk of them being swallowed by children or
pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burns of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective
gloves.
• Do not short-circuit or dismantle batteries/rechargeable batteries and do not throw them into fire.
There is a danger of explosion!
• Do not recharge traditional batteries. There is a danger of explosion! Only charge rechargeable
batteries intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the device will not be used for a longer period (e.g. in case of storage), remove the inserted battery.
If batteries are too old, they may leak and cause damage to the product, which leads to the cancella-
tion of the warranty/guarantee.
