12. Troubleshooting

Problem
„NO Connection" is
displayed
Signal reception is
weak
Camera feed is not
displayed on the

The USB receiver is

Possible cause
The transmitter/wireless camera
is not supplied with voltage.
Pairing has not been
carried out yet
The transmitter/camera is
out of range.
No aerial has been screwed onto
or connected to the transmitter/
wireless camera.
Aerial is not aligned properly.
Radio signal is blocked.
The receiver is in PC mode
because the USB cable is
connected.
Your operating system is not
compatible with the software.
Receiver connection faulty.
Software and receiver were
installed in the wrong order.
Recommendation
Go to the transmitter/camera and check
if the transmitter/camera is properly
connected to the power supply.
When the transmitter is properly sup-
plied with power, the POWER LED (3)
lights up.
See chapter 8.2 Pairing
Position the transmitter/camera
closer to the receiver.
Ensure that the aerial is properly
attached
Try to adjust the aerial positions on
the transmitter/wireless camera and
the receiver.
If this is the case, make sure that no
sources of interference are in the
vicinity of the transmitter/wireless
camera or the receiver (e.g. rein-
forced concrete walls, metallised mir-
rors, thermo windows, metal shelves,
other wireless devices such as WLAN
routers etc.).
If you want to operate the receiver
with your screen or TV by "video
output" (18), disconnect the USB
connection between computer and
receiver.
Upgrade your operating system to
Windows XP (SP1 recommended) or
Windows Vista.
Disconnect screen and receiver Only
use the USB connection.
1. Disconnect the USB connection.
2. Close the software.
3. Connect the receiver to the PC and
wait a couple of seconds until the
receiver has been recognised as a
USB device.
4. Run the software.
