c) PEaK function
The PEAK function permits recording of activation peaks up to 1 millisecond in the measuring
functions AC voltage and AC current. The peak function can record and display both the high-
est positive peak value (P MAX) and the lowest negative peak value (P MIN). After activating
the "PEAK" function, the maximum and minimum values for the current measuring duration
are recorded.
By pushing the "PEAK" button (7), the display will show the symbol "P MAX". The maximum
value is continually recorded in the display and displayed. You can recolonise this value by the
"P MAX" symbol.
Pushing the "PEAK" button (7) again switches to the MIN function. The minimum value is
continually recorded in the display and displayed. You can recolonise this value by the "P MIN"
symbol.
Pushing again switches to the current measuring display, while the max and min values are
still saved. You can recognise this function by the flashing "P MAX P MIN" symbol.
To switch off this function, keep the "PEAK" button pressed for approx. 2 s. The symbol "P
MAX" or "P MIN" goes out and the regular measuring function is activated.
The PEaK function is only available in aC measuring mode of voltage and
current measurement.

d) rEL function

The REL function allows a reference value measurement to avoid possible line loss as it
occurs, e.g., during impedance measurements. For this purpose, the current indicated value is
set to zero. A new reference value is set.
This function is also used to zero the display in the DC current measuring range. The natural
ambient magnetic field is thus excluded for the measurement.
By pushing the "REL" button (11), this measuring function is activated and the reference value
is saved. The display shows a delta symbol "Δ". The display is set to zero and the atomic
measuring range selection is deactivated.
In order to switch off this function, push the "REL" button again or change the measurement
function via the dial switch.
