9. aDDITIoNaL fuNCTIoNS

The following additional functions can be used to make device settings or use special measur-
ing functions.
a) HoLD function
The Hold function keeps the currently indicated measured value in the displays to allow you to
read or record it easily.
If you test live wires, make sure that this function is deactivated before the
measurement starts. otherwise, the measurement will be incorrect!
To switch on the Hold function, push the "

b) maX/mIN function

The MAX/MIN function enables recording and displaying the maximum and minimum values
during measuring alternatively with the measured value. After activating the "MAX/MIN" func-
tion, the maximum and minimum values for the current measuring duration are recorded.
By pushing the "MAX/MIN" button (10), the display will show the symbol "MAX". The maximum
value is continually recorded in the display and displayed. You can recolonise this value by the
"MAX" symbol.
Pushing the "MAX/MIN" button (10) again switches to the MIN function. The minimum value is
continually recorded in the main display and displayed. You can recolonise this value by the
"MIN" symbol.
Pushing again switches to the current measuring display, while the max and min values are
still saved. You can recognise this function by the flashing "MAX/MIN" symbol.
To switch off this function, keep the "MAX/MIN" button pressed for approx. 2 s. The symbol
"MAX/MIN" goes out and the regular measuring function is activated.
