9. WORKING LAMP

The switch (5) switches the working lamp (8) on and off (switch on = position „I", switch off = position „0").
Switch the working lamp off when you are not using it to save power. Check the charge condition of the lead batte-
ries at regular intervals by pushing the button for the charge condition display (7) once. Further information on the
display can be found in chapter 8.

10. USB OUTPUT

Small consumers with USB plugs can be operated at the USB port (9). The USB port supplies a voltage of 5 V/DC
and a current of up to 2100 mA.
The switch (5) switches on the voltage at the USB output by pushing the button (5) to the position „II". Check the
charge condition of the lead batteries at regular intervals by pushing the button for the charge condition display (7)
once. Further information on the display can be found in chapter 8.
Important:
If the USB output (9) is not needed, this output must be switched off (switch (5) is in the centre position
„0"). At non-observance, the internal rechargeable battery is discharged with the electronics connected to
the USB socket.

11. 12 V-OUTPUT SOCKET

The quick-start system has a 12 V output socket (10) used to connect suitable devices, e.g. a car charging adapter
for mobile phone or similar. The voltage at the socket cannot be switched off and is always ready for use.
Please observe that the device connected to the socket must not have any power intake of more than 10 A. If the
output current is higher, the internal fuse will trigger. Remove the device connected to the socket. The internal fuse
will reset after a short time.
Important:
Since the output socket is directly connected to the internal battery, always ensure that the connected
device is unplugged in time to prevent deep discharge of the internal battery.
Check the charge condition of the lead batteries at regular intervals by pushing the button for the charge
condition display (7) once. Further information on the display can be found in chapter 8.
