Risk due to microwaves!
A door that fails to close adequately
can cause microwave radiation to es-
cape. The appliance must not be used
in such a case.
Pay particular attention to the clean-
■
liness of the door seals and the door
sealing surfaces with all adjacent
parts.
Do not use the appliance if the door
■
is warped or damaged, or if the door
latch, hinges, or door seals are de-
fective, or if the door does not close
tightly for any other reason. Appro-
priate repairs may only be carried out
by a person specially trained for this
purpose.
For your own safety, check regularly that the
appliance is intact:
• Are mains cords and mains plugs undam-
aged?
• Are the unit housing and the viewing
screen undamaged?
• Are the rotary plate and grill rack undam-
aged?
• Are the door sealing surfaces clean?
• Can the door hinges move freely?
• Are both hooks on the door lock undam-
aged?
• Does the door close properly? If the door
is defective, microwaves can be emitted
from the device.
• If the cooking chamber lighting is defec-
tive, it may only be repaired by a qualified
professional.
