7.2 Installation AC power adapter (available separately)

This mobile LED studio light is operated by battery as standard. For continuous operation with
mains power, you need an additional mains power adapter. This is available on our website
www.foto-walser.de

• Use the switch to turn off the mains power adapter <OFF>
• Connect the mains cable (27) to the mains adapter (31)
• Insert the power adapter (AD-AC) (31) from the top into the battery holder on the back of the
lamp
• Make sure that the guide rails are inserted correctly
• Slide the adapter downwards
• A click signals the correct locking of the adapter
• Check that the battery is securely fixed
• Connect the power cord to the power socket
• The mains power adapter is installed correctly and the light is ready for continuous operation
• When disassembling the adapter, proceed in the reverse order, press the release lever on the
light to remove the adapter
NOTE
It is NOT possible to use permanent mains power with the battery plus battery charging
mode. This mobile LED studio light is operated by battery as standard. For continuous
operation with mains power, you need an additional mains power adapter. Even if you insert
the battery into the device and connect the battery charger at the same time! The battery is
recharged in this case during operation, but it discharges much faster than it is recharged.
Therefore, for continuous operation of this mobile LED studio light, the use of the separately
available AC power adapter is absolutely necessary.
NOTE
Only use batteries intended for the device – see technical specifications. After use remove
the batteries from the battery compartment.
8.

Operating the device, Settings and Display signals

8.1 Switching the device on/off

Connect the power supply to the device as described in
section 7 using the battery or mains power adapter.
• Long press the ON/OFF button (4) for 1-2 second to turn
on; press again the ON/OFF button (4) to turn off.
• LCD panel (7) shows the operation status information.

8.2 Light Brightness Adjustment (dimmer function) on the device

• Turn the select dial (5) to adjust the light brightness.
• The light brightness adjustable range is at 10%~100%.

8.3 Adjusting Channel / Group on the video light

• Press the CH/GRP button and the group icon blinks. Turn the select dial to choose a group ID
(A to F).
• Press the CH/GRP button twice and the channel icon blinks. Turn the select dial to choose a
channel ID (1 to 16).

8.4 Adjusting brightness channel and group by wireless remote control

With 433 MHz wireless system, this product has remote grouping and control function. Up to 6
groups of video lights can be controlled. 16 channels are available with strong anti-interference
capability.
• Please set the channels and groups of video light to the same as those of remote control
before usage.
• When using this Daylight Version, please set the color temperature of the remote control as
5600K constantly.
Adjusting Channel/Group of the Remote Control
• Press the CH/GRP button and the group icon blinks. Press the"-""+" button to choose a group
ID (A to F).
• Press the CH/GRP button twice and the channel icon blinks. Press the"-""+" button to choose
a channel ID (1 to 16).
Adjusting Light Brightness/Color Temperature with the Remote Control
• Press the"-""+" button to adjust the light brightness.
• Press the SET button of the remote control once and the color temperature icon blinks. Press
the"-""+" button to adjust the color temperature.
NOTE
Note that the brightness setting can only be correctly adjusted by 10-100% using the remote
control if the correct value for the color temperature of the Daylight LED light (5600K) version
is set on the remote control. If another value (e.g., 4400K) is set on the remote control, the
brightness selection is reduced to a range of 25 to 100%.
