Opening measured current circuits is not required as with
"conventional" multimeters (with test leads). The currents to
be measured can be determined directly at individual current
supply cables in the equipment.
The measuring instrument has a Data-Hold function, which
holds the instantaneous display contents by pressing the
"DATA HOLD" button. This button has a double function,
which sets the display to zero in the direct current range; for
this, pressing the button for 2 seconds causes a zero bal-
ance.
Apart from direct and alternating current measurements this
measuring instrument can also carry out voltage measure-
ments up to a max. of 600 V DC/ACrms as well as resistance
measurements to 40 Mohm and continuity checks. With re-
sistances less than 50 Ohm an acoustic signal sounds.
This Measuring instrument can be used universally in the
hobby area as well as in industrial, education and other
fields.
A Lo-Batt message in the display (battery symbol) signals the
need to change the battery soon. In addition the measuring
instrument is equipped with an Auto-Power-Off function,
which automatically switches the measuring instrument off
after10 minutes if no measurements are carried out.
An alkali 9V block battery e.g. type 6LR61 or MN1604 or
6F22 or 006P is required/used for voltage supply.

A) Inserting and changing the battery
Do not leave batteries lying about openly be-
cause of the danger that they will be swal-
lowed by children or pets! Seek immediate
medical help should swallowing occur!
In order for the leakage current tester to function properly it
must be equipped with an alkali 9V battery (type 6LR61 or
MN1604 or 6F22 or 006P). When the battery-change symbol
appears at the top left of the display, the batteries must be
replaced. Proceed as follows:

Elimination
Si la pince à courant, malgré une alimentation intacte (batte-
rie monobloc 9 V) n'est pas en état de fonctionner ou est ir-
