Pour la mesure des courants de fuite dans un réseau à
"1 phase", procédez de la manière suivante :
a) Retirez, si en présence, les câbles de mesure des douilles
de mesure (7) et (8),
b) Glissez le sélecteur des fonctions de mesure (3) sur la po-
sition Ampère "A" et sélectionnez à l'aide du sélecteur des
plages de mesure (9), une plage de mesure "2A",
c) Appuyez la touche de fonction (4) pour passer dans la pla-
ge de courant AC. Au display apparaît à gauche "AC".
d) Branchez l'appareil de mesure, comme illustré, a une
conducteur de courant ; la valeur de mesure peut mainte-
nant être lue à l'affichage numérique.
La méthode de mesure utilisée ici, mesure la valeur de la
différence entre le courant entrant et le courant sortant.
Pour un consommateur correct, il sera affiché au display la
valeur "zéro" (+/- valeur de la tolérance), du fait que le
deux courants s'annulent.
Pour un consommateur défectueux (avec courant de fuite
contre le potentiel terrestre), il se présentera ici une diffé-
rence, du fait qu'une partie du courant entrant s'écoule
vers la "terre" ; cette différence peut maintenant être lue à
l'affichage numérique.
e) Glissez après avoir effectué la mesure, le sélecteur des
fonctions de mesure sur la position "OFF". L'appareil de
mesure est maintenant éteint.

c) press the function button (5) and keep it depressed for 2
seconds, to carry out a zero balance on the digital display.
d) Open the ammeter clamp (1) by pressing the clamp open-
ing lever (2),
e) enclose a current carrying conductor with the ammeter
clamp (1),
f) close the clamp by releasing the lever (2). The contact sur-
faces of the ammeter clamp must be securely closed, the
cable(s) must move freely within the clamp opening. Take
care during the reading that the conductor is a much as
possible in the centre (middle of the opening).
g) The measured value can now be read in the digital display
(6).
h) After finishing the measurement push the measurement
function switch (3) to the position "OFF"; the measuring
instrument is now switched off.
The direction of flow (current flow) is important for direct
current measurement (see also the " " marking in the
clamp opening; the arrow gives the "+" current direction)
Always observe the safety instructions during all measure-
ments.
Alternating voltage measurement
Attention!
Never exceed the maximum permissible input
levels, also not when measuring superim-
posed DC voltages (e.g. ripple voltages). Max.
600 V ACrms. Do not touch any circuits or cir-
cuit components when measuring voltages
higher than 25 V AC rms or 35 V DC.
For measurement of AC voltages, proceed as follows:
- Connect the black measurement lead to the COM socket
(7) and the red measurement lead to the VΩ socket (8) un-
til they audibly lock in (plugs lie flat on the measuring in-
strument),
- set the measurement function switch (3) to position "V"
and press the AC/DC change over button (4) for a short
time; an acknowledgement sound is given and "AC" ap-
pears left in the display.
- Now connect both probe tips to the object to be measured
(load, circuit etc.),
- the instantaneous measured value is shown in the display
(6).
