Bij gebruik onder andere dan bovengenoemde omstandighe-
den kan het apparaat beschadigd raken of bestaat het ge-
vaar van kortsluiting, brand, elektrische schokken e.d.
Het gehele product mag niet worden veranderd, resp. wor-
den omgebouwd! De veiligheidsaanwijzingen moeten beslist
in acht worden genomen!

(1) Stroomtang met een openingsbreedte van max. 36 mm
(voor het "omsluiten" van enkele geleiders, geleidings-
systemen enz.).
(2) Tangopeningshendel voor het openen en sluiten van de
stroomtang.
(3) Meetfunctieschakelaar voor het instellen van de 3 meet-
functies en met "OFF"-stand (apparaat uit).
(4) Functie-omschakeltoets voor AC en DC in stroom en
spanningsmeetbereik resp. W en •))) in het weerstands-
meetbereik.
(5) Functietoets "DATA HOLD / DC A ZERO" voor het "be-
vriezen" van de displayinhoud. Wordt deze toets in het
DC A-bereik voor 2 sec. ingedrukt, dan wordt op nul af-
gesteld.
(6) LCD- aanduiding (3 3/4-posities tellende, grote dis-
playwaarde: 3999; functiesymbolen als decimale pun-
ten, polariteit (-), batterijsymbool, "D.H" en "OFL" bij be-
reikoverschrijding worden eveneens weergegeven).

rent Tester model 157.
With this Leakage Current Tester you have acquired a mea-
suring instrument built to the latest technological standard.
Construction complies with DIN VDE 0411 = EN 61010. In
addition it has been EMC-tested and fulfils the requirements
of the applicable European and national directives.
Conformance to these has been proven; the relevant state-
ments and documents are lodged with the manufacturer.
To maintain this condition and to guarantee safe operation,
the user must observe these operating instructions!

Intended use
Measuring, converting (Hall effect sensors) and display of di-
rect and alternating currents in the region 1 mA to 39,99 A.
Leakage current measurement in 1-phase and 3-phase cur-
rent networks as well as in DC-current networks.
Measurement of DC and AC current up to max. 600 V.
Resistance measurements up to 39,99 MOhm.
Continuity test (less than 50 Ohm, acoustic).
The instrument may not be operated when opened, with bat-
tery compartment open, or with the battery compartment lid
missing. Measurement in damp areas, outdoors, or in un-
favourable environmental conditions, is not permitted.
