Operating Modes

Stand-Alone Operation

In this mode, the effect light is operated as a single device.
• Set DIP switches 9 and 10 to ON to operated the device in automatic operation with quick-changing effects.
Now the different light patterns are automatically controlled by the integrated controller.
• Set only DIP switch 9 to ON and turn the control MIC to the left stop to operate the device in automatic operation
with slow-changing effects. Now the different light patterns are automatically controlled by the integrated
controller.
• Turn the control MIC to the right (only DIP switch 9 must be set to ON) to operate the device in music control.
Now the effect light is controlled by the integrated microphone.
• Music control sensitivity can be set with the MIC control. Set this control so that the light patterns change
in time to the music.

Master-Slave Mode

In this operating mode several devices are connected. One device (the master device) controls the connected
devices (slave devices) synchronously through its integrated controller.
• Set DIP switch 1 on the master device to ON to define the device as the master device.
• Set all DIP-switches at the slave devices to OFF to define them as slave devices.
• Set the DIP-switches 10 at the slave devices to ON to define them as slave devices reacting opposite to
the master device.
• Connect the DMC OUT DMX output on the master device to DMX IN DMX input on the slave device. Then
connect DMX OUT DMX output of the first slave device to DMX IN DMX input on the second slave device.
Proceed accordingly with all slave devices.
• Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT DMX output of the last slave device (as
described in section "DMX operation").
No external DMX controller must be connected to the master device in this mode of operation.
Only one device in a master-slave-chain must be encoded as master device. All other devices
must be encoded as slave devices.
