Basic functions

a) Switching on the multimedia player

Put the of/off switch (11) in the "ON" position. After a brief welcome message, the selection
menu comes up on the LC display.
If the multimedia player has shut down (e.g. after a longer period of inactivity), hold down the
"" button (3) until the LC display comes back on.

b) Switching off the multimedia player

Push the on/off switch (11) to the left (away from the "ON" position).

In the settings, you can specify the inactivity shut-down time, after which the
multimedia player shuts down automatically if no button is pressed and no file
is played (provided the device is not connected to a computer via USB).
Hold down the "" button (3) to put the multimedia player in standby mode.

c) Main menu, function selection

In the main menu, use buttons "<" (1) and ">" (2) to select an item. Confirm your selection by
pressing the "M" button (4).
Hold down the "M" (4) button to go back to the main menu.
