• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plas-
tic foils/bags etc. can become dangerous toys for children, there is
risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, put the device out of operation immediately and secure it
against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device does not function any longer or
- the product has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a
long period of time
or
- after it has been exposed to heavy stress during transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of
the Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Sys-
tems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The product must not get damp or wet. It is suitable for dry indoor
use only.
• Make sure that no magnetic or electromagnetic fields or heat
sources are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not subject the product to heavy mechanical stress. The device
can be damaged under load or when dropped from a low height.
• Never pour fluids on electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repairs may only be carried out by a
qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
