6. PrODUCt DESCrIPtION

The multi-cable tester has been specifically developed for quick on-site testing. Cable conti-
nuity, cable assignment and termination for Thin Ethernet (BNC), 10Base-T (UTP/STP), AT&T
258A, TIA 586A/B and Token Ring can be tested. Since the device has a remote unit, the
cables to be tested can be tested both before and after installation.
