5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

5.1 Placing the receiver

Place the receiver on a plane surface and put both antennas in a vertical position. For best transmission
quality place the receiver at the height of the microphones and maintain a line-of-sight between the devices.
Make sure the reception is not interfered with objects in the transmission path or other radio transmitters
(e.g. wireless telephones, bluetooth, microwaves, Wi-Fi). Avoid obstacles between the devices such as
metal, dense materials, computers or other HF-generating equipment. If you experience interference, move
the receiver further away or change the transmission channel (

5.2 Connecting the receiver

Connect the output of the receiver to the subsequent unit (e.g. mixer, amplifier). The 6.3 mm jack is
unbalanced and supplies the mixed signal of both microphone channels. For connection the supplied
cable may be used.

Finally, connect the power supply unit to the power input of the receiver and the mains plug to a mains
socket. Use the receiver only with the supplied power unit. Always disconnect the mains connector
when you wish to change connections, move the unit to a different place or if it is not used for a longer
period.
