Before you start

Keep to the switch-on sequence.
•
In the event of faults or errors during commissiong, see chapter "Troubleshooting and fault
elimination".

... before connecting the controller to the voltage supply
•
Check the wiring for completeness, short circuit and earth fault
•
If you do not use a function module (as delivered):
– Is the FIF cover mounted?
•
If you use the internal voltage source X3/20 of the standard I/O:
– Are the terminals X3/7 and X3/39 bridged?
... the setting of the main drive parameters before enabling the controller
•
Is the V/f rated frequency adapted to the motor connection?
•
Is the configuration of the analog inputs and outputs adapted to the wiring?
•
Is the configuration of the digital inputs and outputs adapted to the wiring?
•
Are the drive parameters relevant for your application set correctly?
If necessary, use the keypad or PC to adapt them.
