6.4.4.3 Managing Pycnometers
Editing takes place in the "Pycnometer data table"
The volume of the Pycnometer can be determined by absolute
weighing. See section "Absolute Weighing Method – Weighing
Sequence without Test Specimen". Correct the entry in the
"Pycnometer volume" field if necessary.
Enter the expanded uncertainty resulting from the density deter-
mination in the "Uncertainty in pycnometer volume (k=2)" field.
The "Volume Constancy factor" stands as an empirical value for
the uncertainty in connection with the fill quantity correction
value ∆ m (see section "Density Determination Equation – Initial
Equation").
