11. Weather Station Operation

a) Starting New DCF Reception Attempt

Keep the button „DOWN/DCF" (3) pushed for about 3 seconds until a sound signal is issued.
After a few seconds, the radio tower icon (H) should start to flash.

The search for the DCF signal and assessment of the signal may take up to 10
minutes; do not move the weather station during this time and do not push any button.

b) Deactivating DCF-Reception

If DCF reception is not possible at the site of setup (e.g. in a basement) DCF reception can be
switched off.
• Keep the button „DOWN/DCF" (3) pushed for about 3 seconds until a sound signal is issued.
After a few seconds, the radio tower icon (H) should start to flash.
• Briefly push the button „DOWN/DCF" (3). The radio tower symbol disappears.
• Then set the time and date manually; see chapter 11. d).
