10. Maintenance and cleaning

Check the components regularly for any signs of damage. All moving parts should move freely, but there must be not
any slackness in the bearing.
Clean the exterior of the ship with a soft, damp cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning chemicals or detergents, as
these may damage the surface of the model.
Important!
Only use genuine replacement components to replace damaged or worn parts.
Damage to the hull should only be repaired using a non water-soluble glue that is suitable for ABS plastics. We
recommend using 5 Minute Epoxy glue.

11. Disposal

a) Product

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household waste. Always dispose
of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.

b) (Rechargeable) batteries

You as the end user are required by law to return all used batteries. Placing batteries in household waste is prohibited.
Batteries contain harmful chemicals and are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in household
waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead (indicated on the battery, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
