2-2) Anschluß des Geräts :
- Das Gerät muß mit 230V 50Hz gespeist werden
- Der Netzanschluß erfolgt mit einem 3-drahtigen
Kabel (Braun = Phase, Blau = Nulleiter, Schwarz
= Steuerleitung ) über ein Anschlußgehäuse. In
Naßräumen wie Bad und Küche muß das
Anschlußgehäuse mindestens 25 cm über dem
Boden angebracht werden.
- Die Installation muß mit einer omnipolaren
Schaltvorrichtung,
die
Kontaktöffnungsabstand von mindestens 3 mm
hat, ausgerüstet werden.
- Der Anschluß an die Erde ist verboten. Die Steuerleitung (schwarz) nicht an die Erde anschließen.
- Für den Austausch des Netzanschlußkabels, wenn dieses zu kurz oder beschädigt ist, sind
Spezialwerkzeuge erforderlich. Dieser muß daher von einem Fachmann durchgeführt werden.
Wenn ein Steuergerät oder gesteuertes Gerät durch ein Differential mit 30mA geschützt ist ( z.B.: Badezimmer)
ist es notwendig, die Speisung der Steuerleitung auf diesem Differential zu schützen.

2) Setting a comfortable temperature
This is the temperature required when the room is occupied.
}
a) Put the
switch to ON.
b) Set the
control knob to between 4 and 5. The heating indicator V1 comes on if the room temperature is below

the required temperature.
c) Wait a few hours for the temperature to stabilise.
d) If the setting is satisfactory (if necessary use a thermometer to check), mark the position for future use.
If the setting is not satisfactory, adjust it and start again from point c).
3) Frost-Free mode: HG
This mode is used to keep the temperature at approximately 7°C
in the room when you are absent from the house for a
prolonged period (i.e. more than 24 hours).
a) Leave the
switch on ON.
b) Set the
control knob to " HG ".
4) Locking the controls
It is possible to lock or limit use of the
switch to prevent unauthorised manipulation of the panel heater
(children, etc.).
a) Unhook the panel heater from its wall mounting.
b) Remove the slugs P on the back of the thermostat from their
mountings.
c) Select position B to lock the control knob or position L to limit the
amount it can be turned. Position M blocks the switch.
5) The heating indicator: V1
This light comes on when the heating element is working. It may
flash when the temperature has stabilised.
- There is no point in setting maximum heating, the room temperature will not rise any quicker.
- When you air the room, disconnect the panel heater by putting the
