During the charging process, the red LED on the charging station is lit permanently
and the green LED is flashing. As soon as the rechargeable batteries are fully
charged, the greed LED lights up permanently.
Total charging time is between 7 to 8 hours.
Note that the PTT button and the CALL button are inactive dur-
ing the charging process. The batteries can be charged with the
walkie-talkie switched on or off. However, if battery voltage is
too low, the walkie-talkie should be switched off.

10.1 Low battery voltage detection

If low battery voltage is detected, a beep is played and the battery symbol (D) starts
flashing. In this case, you should recharge the inserted rechargeable batteries.
If battery voltage is too low, the walkie-talkie will shut down automatically.

11. Setting up and using the product

In order to communicate with another person or group, all PMR
walkie-talkies have to use the same channel and sub-channel.
Make sure that the channel you intend to use is not already
being used by another group.
If the channel is already being used by another group, there are
probable transmission interferences on both sides. Find a free
channel for yourself and your partner.
Your two-way walkie-talkies are operated on PMR 446 frequen-
cies. If you intend to use your walkie-talkie when travelling,
consult the consulate of the respective country if operation is
permissible in that country.
After the rechargeable batteries have been inserted and completely charged, you
can operate the two walkie-talkies.
