should allow the system components to reach room tempera-
ture before using them or connecting the wall power supply to
the mains supply. This process may take several hours.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the
reach of children!
• Never operate the system components when they are covered.
Always ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the
safety or the correct use of the system components.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended.
Plastic foils/bags etc. can become dangerous toys for children,
there is risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, put the device out of operation immediately and
secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored for longer periods under
unfavourable conditions or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial facilities, the regulations for the prevention of
accidents as laid down by the professional trade association for
electrical equipment and devices must be observed.
• The product can be damaged by pressure, traction or when
dropped even from a low height.
• The PMR walkie-talkies are rated IP 54 and are thus suitable
for outdoor use. The provided wall power supplies and the
charging stations are intended for dry indoor use only.
• The provided 1.2 V/DC AA rechargeable batteries are used to
supply the PMR walkie-talkies with power. To recharge the
rechargeable AA batteries, only the supplied wall power
supplies and charging stations may be used.
• The wall power supplies must never be plugged in or
unplugged with wet hands.
