3. Explanation of symbols

A lightning symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in
handling, operating or controlling the product.
The hand symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

4. Safety instructions

The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with these operating instructions. We assume
no liability for any consequential damage!
We do not accept any liability for personal injury or damage to
property caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the
safety instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is
voided.
• The two walkie-talkies and the two wall power supplies must
not be modified or rebuilt, as not only the CE approval will
become void but also the warranty/guarantee.
• The supplied wall power supplies conform to protection class
II. They may only be connected to a standard household 230 V~/
50 Hz mains supply socket.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme tem-
peratures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechan-
ical stress.
• When the system components are taken from a cold to a warm
room (e.g. during transport), condensation may be
produced. The condensation can damage the product. There
is also the danger of a deadly electric shock! Therefore, you
