• Never pull on the cable of the wall power supplies. Always
unplug them by pulling out the housing.
• Remove the wall power supply from the wall socket if the
device is not in use over a period of time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the wall power supply from the
mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
• Never replace damaged connections yourself. If necessary,
disconnect the device from the mains and take it to a special-
ist workshop.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices. This poses a serious
risk of fire or electric shock. If such a case does occur, dis-
connect the wall power supply from the mains socket immedi-
ately and consult an expert.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repairs may only be carried out
by a qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• For any questions not treated in these operating instructions,
please contact our customer service or other specialists.
• The device must not be used in vehicles or airplanes. The sen-
sitive electronic equipment in vehicles/airplanes might be
affected by the walkie-talkie. In addition, such means of trans-
port act as a Faraday cage. The transmission signals are
screened off and the range of the device is reduced signifi-
cantly. The exposure to radiation inside the vehicle is
increased.
• Do not place the device within the range of an airbag. When
the airbag is inflated, the walkie-talkie can be catapulted off
and cause injuries.
• Never operate the device near sensitive devices as used in
hospitals. The walkie-talkie can cause interferences with such
devices.
• Persons with pacemakers should not use the device as the
emitted radiation might affect the pacemaker.
• The walkie-talkie might impair the function of a hearing aid
used nearby. Consult a hearing aid specialist or the manufac-
turer of your hearing aid to find alternatives.
